MES is seeking a Contract Senior Mining Engineer to work for an up-and-coming Australian Gold Explorer & Producer.
The Company has an experienced management team with extensive expertise in identifying the best potential to develop newly discovered mineral prospects. They have amassed a significant land package within the Pilbara region of WA
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering;
- Unrestricted WA Quarry Manager Certificate (highly regarded, not essential);
- Demonstrated successful leadership;
- Competent using mining software programs.
Position Duties:
- Produce practical mine designs;
- Produce and maintain rolling production schedules;
- Identify and set production priorities.
- Undertake daily inspections of working areas;
- Assist in developing and implementing weekly, monthly and quarterly production plans in line with the operational targets.
Experience
Senior level experience working in an open-pit environment, preferably on gold sites.
