MES are currently seeking an experienced Shutdown Mobilisation Coordinator to support a major participant within the lithium and battery minerals sector, operating one of Western Australia’s newest large-scale downstream processing facilities based in Perth, south of the river.
This is a Perth-based Monday to Friday position working standard business hours, with occasional weekend work required depending on shutdown and project demands. The role is initially offered as a short-term contract for approximately 1 month, with the potential for extension based on performance and operational requirements.
About the Role
Working closely with operational and project teams, you will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end mobilisation activities for shutdown personnel across multiple projects and campaigns.
You will play a key role in ensuring workforce mobilisation processes are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within tight timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous experience within fast-paced shutdown mobilisation, workforce coordination or HR support roles
- Strong exposure to mining, construction or heavy industry environments
- Experience managing high-volume mobilisation campaigns under tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of mine site compliance and onboarding requirements
- Experience using systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, INX (InFlight/InTuition), SAM Suite or similar mobilisation/compliance platforms
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments
Position Duties:
- Coordinate end-to-end shutdown mobilisation activities
- Manage bulk onboarding, inductions and site access requirements
- Conduct high-volume recruitment screening and workforce coordination
- Ensure all personnel meet site compliance and pre-employment requirements
- Validate licences, tickets and right-to-work documentation
- Coordinate medicals, training and mobilisation logistics
- Liaise closely with operations teams, candidates and external providers
- Monitor workforce schedules and mobilisation timelines
- Maintain accurate mobilisation records and reporting within internal systems
