Our client, an ASX listed copper focused base and precious metals mining company is currently seeking a Ventilation Engineer to join their team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering or related field;
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards and regulations related to ventilation systems;
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Position Duties:
- Design and engineer ventilation systems that meet specific requirements and standards for air quality, temperature control and airflow efficiency;
- Conduct calculations, simulations and modeling to determine system capacity, air exchange rates, ductwork sizing and energy efficiency;
- Perform technical analysis to evaluate the performance and efficiency of existing ventilation systems, identifying areas of improvement and optimization;
- Diagnose and trouble shoot issues related to ventilation systems.
