Our client is a busy and specialist drilling, blasting, explosives supply, and RC grade control drilling services for Australian-based mining projects.
They are seeking Drill Fitters to work across multiple WA sites.
Requirements;
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience repairing and maintaining surface blast hole drills (Sandvik DP1500i/DP1500/DI650i Atlas Copco D65/L8-30 experience desirable but not essential);
- Transferrable skills maintaining underground drills or alternative mobile plant equipment will be considered for the right candidates;
- Hold a relevant trade certificate;
- Hold an HR Driver's Licence.

Position Duties:
- Scheduled servicing and repairs of the company's drill fleet and other equipment;
- Unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance;
- Supervision and training of other ROG maintenance personnel;
- Working closely with operations personnel to provide technical guidance and meet safety, maintenance and operational objectives.
Experience
Whilst drill fitting experience is highly desirable applicants with alternative mobile plant, agricultural or heavy mechanical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
