Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology;
- Proficient in Datamine and Leapfrog;
- Manual Drivers License.
Position Duties:
- Assist in preparing regular management updates and cost reports on the progress of geological and mining activities;
- Ensure the compilation and maintenance of geological and resource models, maintaining reconciliation performance;
- Oversee grade control drilling and development drilling to establish orebody limits within approved budget estimates;
- Manage performance indicators for mining and geological activities in alignment with annual and quarterly plans; monitor and manage performance accordingly;
- Ensure geological operational capability and performance through personnel supervision;
- Maintain operational direction as set by the Mine Manager and Geology Manager/Superintendent for mining and geological processes.
Experience
8+ years experience in underground mining operations, with 2+ years in a senior level role.
