Our client, a greenfield lithium project that is currently under construction to produce battery quality lithium hydroxide is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Mining operation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant diploma/degree/progression towards qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline is favorable but not essential;
  • Competent with ERP System (SAP or Pronto);
  • Knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations pertaining to warehousing facilities and storage of Dangerous Goods;
  • Fork Lift ticket (30 tonne);
  • Competent in laydown yard management;
  • Truck License HR desired.

Position Duties:

  • Develop worksafe procedures and statutory requirements for the storage of all goods including dangerous goods;
  • Responsible for the daily and weekly activities of issuing of parts and materials following the Warehousing and Logistics processes;
  • Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines;
  • Dispatching goods from site in accordance with safe and company procedures;
  • Undertaking accurate stock returns including processing all relevant paperwork and updating computer systems;
  • Prepare weekly and monthly key performance indicators to manage performance of the Warehousing and Logistics function;
  • Monitor and report on the replenishment of inventories and ensure all processes comply with approved policies;
  • Provide inputs to the preparation of budgets for warehousing and logistics.
Experience
5+ years experience workin giwthin logistics with time spent in both warehousing and freight operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory leadership capacity
