SM18447 Underground Grader Operator | Mining Employment Services

We are seeking an experienced Underground Grader Operator to join a close-knit underground mining team at a small, high-performing gold operation in the Western Australian Goldfields.

This is a great opportunity for an operator who takes pride in maintaining safe underground road conditions, producing high-quality ground control work, and being part of a tight, productive site crew where your contribution is highly visible and valued.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience operating graders in underground mining environments (essential)
Previous experience in narrow vein or small underground operations highly regarded
Strong understanding of underground road maintenance and ground conditions
Ability to work autonomously in confined, high-risk environments
Strong commitment to safety, hazard awareness, and communication

Position Duties:

Operate a grader underground to maintain safe and accessible travel roads;
Carry out road maintenance including trimming, levelling, and correcting boggy or damaged ground conditions;
Reading and working from site plans and survey marks;
Support underground production and development crews by ensuring safe access throughout the mine;
Conducting daily machine checks and basic maintenance;
Read and interpret grade pegs, survey marks, and operational instructions;
