Our client, a rapidly growing high-grade underground gold producer in Western Australia, is seeking a few Underground Mine Surveyors to join their team. Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying
  • Previous experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mining environment
  • Proficiency in Deswik Survey software
  • Strong skills in spreadsheets, reporting tools, and database applications
  • Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong forward planning and organisational capability
  • Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
  • First Aid certification (desirable but not essential)

Position Duties:

  • Utilising appropriate survey equipment and best-practice methodologies to generate accurate data in a timely manner;
  • Maintaining survey equipment to required calibration and adjustment standards;
  • Ensuring emergency survey plans are current and accessible;
  • Assisting with the preparation of mine plans for regulatory submissions;
  • Installing and maintaining survey stations for underground directional control;
  • Accurately marking up development and diamond drilling designs;
  • Producing high-quality survey plans, memos, and reports;
  • Conducting development pick-ups and maintaining accurate as-built survey models;
  • Completing CMS surveys and validating results;
  • Assisting with end-of-month survey reconciliations;
