Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying
- Previous experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mining environment
- Proficiency in Deswik Survey software
- Strong skills in spreadsheets, reporting tools, and database applications
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong forward planning and organisational capability
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- First Aid certification (desirable but not essential)
Position Duties:
- Utilising appropriate survey equipment and best-practice methodologies to generate accurate data in a timely manner;
- Maintaining survey equipment to required calibration and adjustment standards;
- Ensuring emergency survey plans are current and accessible;
- Assisting with the preparation of mine plans for regulatory submissions;
- Installing and maintaining survey stations for underground directional control;
- Accurately marking up development and diamond drilling designs;
- Producing high-quality survey plans, memos, and reports;
- Conducting development pick-ups and maintaining accurate as-built survey models;
- Completing CMS surveys and validating results;
- Assisting with end-of-month survey reconciliations;
