Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to join their team in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields region.

Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering;
- WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency or ability to obtain one;
- Strong underground engineering experience (preferably gold);
- Demonstrated short-term planning experience;
- Proficient in Deswik, Ventsim and Microsoft Office.
Position Duties:
- Optimise, compile, and effectively communicate the rolling 3 monthly schedule;
- Prepare level extraction plans and reports to optimise the mining extraction processes and return on investment;
- Work collaboratively alongside the Production Team providing guidance for weekly scheduling priorities;
- Design development mining instructions required to meet the operational mining schedule;
- Ensure plans are completed with adequate consideration to ventilation, infrastructure, paste fill, geological and geotechnical requirements;
- Develop strategic infrastructure plans and schedules with due consideration to mining interactions and budget requirements.
