Our client, a successful Perth-based gold and base metals exploration company, is seeking an Exploration Geologist to assist their team at one of their Gold projects located 14 kilometres south of the Golden Mile deposit in Kalgoorlie.
Requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in Geology;
- Proficient in Exploration software - Micromine, MapInfo, Leapfrog, DataShed.
- AC drill rig knowledge;
- Competent in working around exploration & drill rigs.
Position Duties:
- AC Drill rig supervision; geological logging; geological interpretation; ensure sampling quality is maintained;
- Data management and short, daily reporting requirements;
- Logging, sampling, and dispatch;
- Conducting geological interpretations and developing applicable exploration targets;
- Ensure drilling is completed to appropriate standards and is cost effective.
