Our client is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician for their exciting nickel operation in WA. They are a global base metals company, operating long-life mines in several countries and employing approximately 20,000 people worldwide.
Job Requirements:
- Site Laboratory experience;
- Current Drivers License;
- National Police Clearance
- Strong commitment to OH&S procedures;
- High level of communication skills – verbal and written.
Position Duties:
- Create and proactively manage the effective monthly, weekly and daily plan to operate the laboratory and sample areas in a safe, environmentally sustainable and cost-effective manner;
- Work with the geology and process plant teams to ensure the optimum use of the laboratory and sampling areas;
- Source and maintain quality data to produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the laboratory operations.
