Our client is an independent, global gold mining company with a diverse, high-quality portfolio of operations, projects and exploration activities across nine countries on four continents. Gold is their top product, and they need an experienced Process Technician for this specific mine site. This particular mine site of theirs comprises a series of open pits and an underground mine as well.
Job Requirements:
- Strong demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Sound computer literacy – Microsoft Office and SCADA
- Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices
- Current WA C Class Drivers Licence
- Able to attain a National Police Clearance
- You must be able to provide a COVID-19 Digital Certificate
Position Duties:
- Performing tasks while minimising exposure to health, safety, and environmental risks;
- Identifying and eliminating hazards with a view to achieving an injury-free workplace;
- Operating designated fixed plant infrastructure;
- Maximising plant performance by continually monitoring the plant operating conditions and plant state;
- Completing area-specific inspections to identify and diagnose plant and equipment deficiencies;
- Operation of mobile equipment, including IT loader, skid steer loaders and forklifts;
