An excellent opportunity for an Environmental Advisor at a new WA potash project with 30+ years of mine life.

Some of the critical requirements for this role are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/ Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Law equivalent;
  • Capable of handling multiple complex tasks and activities with minimal supervision;
  • A high degree of familiarity with applicable environmental legislation and associated processes;
  • Ability to liaise and influence at all levels of staff and management on site;
  • Extensive experience with environmental management systems, monitoring, and compliance;
  • Strong computer skills, with exposure to ArcGIS or similar mapping software highly desirable.

The client will also be interested in receiving applications for Senior Environment Advisors.

Position Duties:

  • Ensure the necessary processes are in place to ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and licensing site requirements, including relevant reporting obligations
  • Provide professional, timely environmental advice to operations personnel, as required
  • Manage external consultants and provision of scientific advice concerning environmental aspects of the Project
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and have an active involvement in external audits, as required
