Nimy Resources has announced that its maiden RC drilling program is underway at the Corporate James gold prospect, part of the company’s 100%-owned Mons Project in the Yilgarn Craton. The prospect is about 370km north-east of Perth and 140km north-northwest of Southern Cross.
The company said the program is the first drilling along the approximately 16km Corporate James Trend, where soil sampling and remote regolith mapping identified a coherent gold-in-soil anomaly. Corporate James was identified by Nimy as the highest-priority target within the trend.
Nimy said the approximately 25-hole, 6,000m program will test the interpreted bedrock source of the Corporate James anomaly, as well as the Corporate James South anomaly and selected targets elsewhere along the broader trend. Holes are planned to nominal depths of 240m on 120m-spaced traverses.
Drilling is expected by the company to be completed before Christmas 2026. Samples are planned for analysis at Intertek in Perth, and Nimy expects all assay results to be received during the March 2027 quarter, subject to laboratory turnaround and the holiday period.
