Beach Energy reports 9% quarterly production increase, maintains FY27 guidance

Beach Energy said quarterly production increased to 5.4 MMboe for the period ended 30 September 2026. The company attributed the increase to new well connections in the Western Flank and strong operational performance in the Otway and Bass basins.

Sales revenue rose 41% quarter-on-quarter to $565 million, which Beach described as its highest quarterly revenue reported. The company said higher sales volumes, including the timing of LNG and oil liftings, contributed to the result.

Beach said its joint venture reached a final investment decision for the Waitsia Inlet Compression project. The company expects site works to begin in the second half of FY27 and start-up in FY29, with capital expenditure of about $120 million net to Beach expected to be split broadly equally across FY27 and FY28.

The company and its joint venture partner are progressing a two-well nearshore Otway exploration campaign targeting the Enterprise East and Selje prospects. Beach said a final investment decision is expected in Q2 FY27, with drilling planned for H1 FY28, subject to regulatory and environmental approvals.
