Wildcat Resources has announced firm commitments for an institutional placement of about 196.7 million new fully paid ordinary shares at A$0.305 each, raising A$60 million before costs. The company said the placement is intended to accelerate development of the Tabba Tabba Lithium Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara.
According to Wildcat, placement proceeds and existing cash reserves will be directed to process-plant front-end engineering and design, road and village development, site establishment, planning for potential long-lead procurement, regional exploration, construction-readiness work, working capital and placement costs. The company said it is continuing to progress a definitive feasibility study targeted for release in calendar 2026.
Wildcat said the new shares will be issued in two tranches, with 183.6 million shares issued under its existing capacity and 13.1 million shares subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting expected in November 2026. The A$0.305 issue price represented a 10.3% discount to the A$0.34 closing price on 18 September 2026, according to the company.
