Evolution Mining's annual report for the year ended 30 June 2026 states that the group met its gold production, all-in sustaining cost and capital guidance. It produced 715,000 ounces of gold and 66,000 tonnes of copper at an all-in sustaining cost of A$1,717 per ounce.
At Ernest Henry, heavy rainfall in late December 2025 and further above-average rainfall in the March 2026 quarter temporarily suspended underground production. Evolution said the operation returned to full production at the start of the June 2026 quarter; the event affected FY26 production by about 12,000 ounces of gold and 8,000 tonnes of copper.
Evolution said it expects to acquire 100% of Carnaby Resources through a scheme of arrangement for about A$213 million, to expand copper growth opportunities at Ernest Henry. Completion remains subject to Carnaby shareholder approval at a scheme meeting expected in late October to early November 2026.
