Black Cat reports high-grade Lynx drilling and Raisebore targets at Paulsens

Follow-up definition and extensional drilling at Lynx, using surface and underground rigs, returned results including 9.86m at 27.38g/t gold from 107.44m, including 0.60m at 186.27g/t gold, and 1.16m at 37.78g/t gold from 131.90m. The company reported all intercepts as downhole lengths rather than true widths.

Black Cat said Lynx is not included in the current Paulsens Mineral Resource. It said current drilling is intended to support an initial Mineral Resource, with estimation and classification to be assessed after assays from 11 pending holes are received and incorporated into the geological model.

At the Raisebore Vein, about 600m from Lynx, three surface diamond holes were completed to test whether the vein lies on a structure parallel to Lynx. Two reported intersections included 0.30m at 31.80g/t gold from 142.60m and 0.25m at 4.63g/t gold from 212.47m; Black Cat said follow-up drilling is planned.

The company said drilling and technical evaluation are continuing at Lynx to assess the extent, continuity and scale of mineralisation. It also reported that further surface exploration targeting mineralisation extensions and regional targets in the Paulsens area has started.
