Auric Mining Limited announced completion of its acquisition of Union Jack, including mining lease M15/120 and, previously, exploration licence P15/6183. The project is east of Coolgardie, directly abuts the Great Eastern Highway and covers 89 hectares.
The company reported an Inferred Mineral Resource at Union Jack of 3.12 million tonnes at 1.02 grams per tonne gold for 102,000 ounces, using a 0.5g/t gold cut-off. It said the resource is on the granted mining lease, with about 16% weathered material and 84% fresh rock.
Auric intends to undertake drilling for resource infill and expansion before mining studies and production scheduling. The company said the program is intended to support the operating life of its Burbanks processing plant; forward-looking statements are subject to risks and uncertainties.
