Alligator Energy reported new uranium mineralisation above its 250ppm eU3O8 cut-off about 1km south of the previously southernmost known mineralised drill hole at Blackbush. The company said two adjacent holes, 100m apart, returned 5.2m at 0.15% eU3O8 from 64.7m and 6.6m at 0.12% eU3O8 from 62.7m.
The company said more than 9,000m across 91 holes has been completed under the Samphire Growth Strategy since its previous drilling update. Drilling is continuing across priority targets in the Blackbush-Plumbush corridor and at Plumbush.
Alligator said the distribution of intersections is interpreted to indicate a southerly continuation of the Blackbush trend, but follow-up drilling is needed to determine continuity and define mineralisation limits. Reported eU3O8 grades are derived from calibrated downhole natural gamma logging rather than chemical assays.
The company plans to continue drilling until late in the fourth quarter of 2026 and intends to integrate drilling, geological and geophysical data for a planned Samphire Mineral Resource update in the first half of 2027.
