Rumble Resources said pipework for pit dewatering has been delivered to the Western Queen site. The company has submitted a Notification of Commencement of Operations required before pumping can begin. The Mine Development and Closure Proposal remains the key outstanding approval, with additional information requests being addressed.
The company said its updated November 2025 scoping study has completed mine design and is well advanced in scheduling, although the work has been slightly delayed. Rumble is aiming to release the study during October 2026. It said a feasibility study and decision to mine remain targeted for the December 2026 quarter, subject to positive updated study results and acceptable indicative financing terms.
Western Queen's June 2026 mineral resource estimate was 5.13Mt at 2.6g/t gold for 433,600oz of contained gold, including 2.46Mt at 2.9g/t gold for 227,700oz of contained gold in the Indicated category. Rumble intends to process Western Queen material at the Kirkalocka gold plant under a toll milling and blending agreement announced in May 2026.
