Black Cat sets FY27 guidance of 80,000 to 90,000 ounces

Black Cat sets FY27 guidance of 80,000 to 90,000 ounces

Black Cat said its FY27 consolidated production guidance is 80,000 to 90,000 ounces, which it described as a projected 14% to 30% increase in wholly owned production. The company guided consolidated all-in sustaining costs of $3,500 to $3,900 per ounce.

The company said Paulsens is planned to produce 36,000 to 42,000 ounces during FY27, while the Kal East mining ramp-up is continuing towards optimised production levels. Black Cat said costs are expected to be higher in the first half before improving in the second half as production rises, development declines and higher-grade ore is delivered.

Black Cat said regulatory approval has been secured to lift Lakewood processing capacity at Kal East to 1.5 million tonnes per annum from 1.2 million tonnes per annum. Its FY27 growth-project plans include mine development, resource-definition drilling, processing long-lead items, tailings storage expansions and site infrastructure upgrades.
