The company said the updated estimates incorporate mining depletion from operations at Paulsens and Kal East. Its group Mineral Resources totalled 30.3Mt at 2.4g/t gold for 2.31Moz across its Paulsens, Kal East and Coyote operations and projects.
Group Ore Reserves were reported at 5.3Mt at 1.6g/t gold for 272koz across the Paulsens and Kal East operations. The update also included an initial Imperial open-pit Ore Reserve of 32koz at 1.4g/t gold.
Black Cat said group Mineral Resources increased about 4% in tonnes to 30.3Mt while contained gold fell about 8% to 2.31Moz. Group Ore Reserves increased about 21% in tonnes to 5.3Mt, while contained gold declined about 18% to 272koz, reflecting mining depletion, updated interpretations and operating assumptions, and the maiden Imperial open-pit reserve.
