Boab updates Sorby Hills Mineral Resource to 50.6Mt

Boab updates Sorby Hills Mineral Resource to 50.6Mt

The updated estimate reports 50.6Mt at 3.0% lead, 34 g/t silver and 0.4% zinc for Sorby Hills. Boab said the estimate represents a 7% increase in resource tonnage from the previous estimate.

The estimate comprises 13.1Mt of Measured Resources, 12.7Mt of Indicated Resources and 24.9Mt of Inferred Resources. The updated work covered the Bimota, Omega and Norton deposits, while Aprilia, Alpha and Beta were not re-estimated.

Boab said an NSR-based domaining approach identified additional mineralisation at Bimota, Omega and Norton. The company said recently reported results from its 47-hole Phase IX drilling program have not been incorporated into the updated estimate and represent future upside.

The company said the announcement reports an updated Mineral Resource only, and that implications for Ore Reserves, mine planning, production targets and project economics require separate assessment and disclosure where material.
