Pantoro Gold has released its annual Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve statement for the Norseman Project. The company said total Mineral Resources increased about 2% year on year after mining depletion to 43.1 million tonnes at 3.4 g/t gold for 4.7 million ounces, while total Ore Reserves rose about 9% to 13.0 million tonnes at 2.2 g/t gold for 0.9 million ounces.
The company said mining activity during the reporting period focused on the OK and Scotia underground operations and the Slippers, Desirables and Gladstone-Everlasting open pits. It also reported significant rehabilitation and drilling in the Mainfield Mining Centre.
At Mainfield, Pantoro reported an updated Mineral Resource of 6.242 million tonnes at 7.2 g/t gold for 1.439 million ounces. The company also reported maiden Ore Reserves at Crown Reef and the Phoenix and Butterfly areas of the Mararoa Reef, with total Mainfield underground Ore Reserves of 1.74 million tonnes at 5.0 g/t gold for 279,000 ounces.
Pantoro said growth drilling at Norseman is entering its third year and described Racetrack as a potential long-term growth source. The company expects to report maiden Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves for Racetrack in 2027.
