Emerald-backed Manda completes North Queensland asset acquisitions, appoints CEO

Emerald Resources said Manda Resources, in which Emerald holds a 19.8% direct equity interest, has completed its acquisition of Broken Hill Gold assets in North Queensland. The assets include the Alice River Project and the St George Gold-Antimony joint venture project.

Manda has also acquired all issued capital in Territory Minerals, securing ownership of the Tregoora and Northcote Goldfields projects. Emerald said the completed acquisitions give Manda a combined global JORC mineral resource of 1.33 million ounces of gold.

Manda appointed Tara French as chief executive officer. Emerald said French has more than 25 years of mining exploration experience and was most recently managing director of Cazaly Resources. Manda has commenced drilling at Tregoora and Northcote and is progressing a proposed ASX listing, which Emerald said is subject to market conditions and ASX admission requirements.
