Impact Minerals has announced that managing director Dr Mike Jones stepped down after 20 years of service for health reasons. The change took effect on 25 September 2026, with Jones to continue supporting the company in an advisory role to assist continuity during the transition.
The company said directors Frank Bierlain and Paul Ingram will not stand for re-election at the AGM. Jim McKerlie will become executive chair while Impact searches for a CEO to lead development of its high-purity aluminium production business. Impact said it is also completing a comprehensive strategic review and will provide further details in due course.
