Iceni Gold reports FY2026 loss and outlines Gold Fields farm-in

Iceni Gold Limited reported a loss before tax of $8.37 million for the year ended 30 June 2026, compared with a $3.49 million loss in the prior year. The group reported cash and cash equivalents of $292,231 and working capital of $98,368 at year end.

The company said a material uncertainty existed that may cast significant doubt on its ability to continue as a going concern, with its ability to continue principally dependent on raising additional capital. Subsequent to year end, Iceni said it raised $845,175 through equity issues to support operations and working capital.

Iceni also reported that it executed an option and joint venture agreement with Gold Fields on 30 June 2026 covering the Everleigh-Tatong Prospect within its 14 Mile Well Project in Western Australia. Under the agreement, Gold Fields is to fund an initial $5 million of exploration expenditure within three years to acquire a 51% interest, subject to a minimum $1.5 million commitment within two years, and may fund a further $5 million to increase its interest to 70%.

During the reporting year, drilling continued at Guyer Main and Guyer South. Iceni reported RC drilling at Guyer South returned 13m at 1.39g/t gold from 179m, including 3m at 5.03g/t gold, while diamond drilling at Guyer Main returned 3.65m at 7.46g/t gold from 151.6m, including 0.5m at 50.2g/t gold.
