Lunnon Metals said 10 new drill holes at Plentiful returned multiple significant gold intersections above a 0.5 g/t Au reporting cut-off. Reported highlights included 12.0m at 1.42 g/t Au from 76m, 14.0m at 1.42 g/t Au from 68m and 14.0m at 1.04 g/t Au from 58m. The company said its current interpretation indicates true widths are close to reported drilled widths.
The company said Plentiful Main has been drilled at approximately 20m by 20m spacing, which it said is capable of supporting an initial reportable Mineral Resource estimate. Lunnon Metals said technical assessment for a potential open-pit optimisation would begin after modelling is completed and, if warranted, could support reporting of a first-time Plentiful Mineral Resource estimate.
Lunnon Metals said its EIS-supported deep drilling program at Plentiful comprised two holes for 1,429m targeting a 500m-to-600m magnetic anomaly. The second diamond hole reached 681.5m but did not return significant assays from the targeted zones, with 0.65m at 0.78 g/t Au reported elsewhere in the hole. The company said no further work is planned at this time on the deep Plentiful target.
