Broad-spaced RC drilling west of the planned open pit returned mineralised zones, including 4m at 10.49g/t gold from 46m. Auric said the results were similar to mineralisation seen elsewhere in the Munda resource and that further drilling towards the ultramafic contact would commence shortly.
Initial close-spaced grade-control drilling in the upper 30m of the planned pit returned intercepts including 15m at 5.56g/t gold from 6m, 4m at 19.34g/t from 9m and 9m at 7.82g/t from 17m. The work is intended to support detailed mine planning, according to the company.
Auric said geotechnical diamond drilling had been completed and engineering for final pit design and an Ore Reserve estimate was expected to finish in October 2026. The company expects to publish Ore Reserves during that month after optimisation and pit-design work are completed.
