The company said the results reinforce the scale and continuity of the Cable-Bollard mineralised system, where multiple parallel gold lodes extend for about 1.8km from Cable through Bollard to Highway. Odyssey said it will incorporate the results into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and mining studies.
At Cable West Hangingwall, Odyssey said recent drilling established a coherent mineralised structure over up to 1,100m of strike. Reported intersections included 5m at 8.6g/t gold from 96m, 13m at 2.6g/t gold from 61m and 3m at 3.0g/t gold from 135m.
At the northern end of Cable, hole CBRC0477 returned 4m at 22.9g/t gold from 45m. Odyssey interpreted the result as a newly recognised lode outside the current Mineral Resource, but said further drilling is required to establish continuity.
Odyssey said metallurgical testwork and mining technical studies are continuing, with further drilling planned to test extensions along strike and down dip and, where appropriate, support future Mineral Resource updates.
