Dreadnought Resources has reported high-grade tungsten rock-chip results from multiple prospects across its 100%-owned Mangaroon and Mangaroon South projects in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region.

At the Nina prospect, the company has mapped multiple quartz-scheelite veins within a core area about 800 metres long and 100 metres wide. New rock-chip samples returned grades of up to 6.5% tungsten trioxide, with other results including 3.3%, 2.4% and 1.4%.

Broader regional opportunity

Dreadnought said historical sampling by Catalyst Metals at Nina returned grades up to 12.7% tungsten trioxide. At Mangaroon South, historical work mapped more than a dozen scheelite occurrences, while Dreadnought’s first sampling at Mulka Well returned 1.9%, 1.4%, 1.3% and 1.0% tungsten trioxide.

The company noted that many global tungsten resources are reported at grades of about 0.2% to 0.5% tungsten trioxide, with higher-grade deposits ranging from roughly 0.5% to more than 1.8%. Rock-chip samples are selective and do not establish average grade, continuity or a Mineral Resource, but the results provide a basis for systematic follow-up.

Why it matters

The results add tungsten to Dreadnought’s expanding critical-minerals and gold portfolio at Mangaroon. Multiple occurrences across a large area indicate a regional-scale target-generation opportunity rather than a single isolated showing.

The work remains early stage. Any operational or employment effect will depend on successful mapping, sampling, drilling and resource definition. In the near term, the activity supports field geology, sampling, environmental and heritage planning, and drilling services.

Next steps

Systematic mapping and sampling are scheduled to begin in September 2026. Dreadnought plans first drilling at Nina late in 2026 or early in 2027, subject to target refinement and program approvals.

The upcoming field program will test the width, strike continuity and distribution of scheelite-bearing veins before the company commits to resource-scale evaluation.
