The company reported assays including 20m at 7.77 g/t gold from 100m, including 2m at 54.04 g/t gold from 114m in hole BOORD260054. Other reported intersections included 19m at 1.63 g/t gold from 108m and 19m at 1.32 g/t gold from 66m.
Maritana said assays for the final 52 holes had been received and validated. The infill drilling was completed primarily between the previously mined Pits 2 and 4, with extension drilling north of Pit 2 and down dip of Pit 4.
According to the company, the results will be incorporated into an updated Boorara Mineral Resource Estimate planned for the March 2027 quarter, followed by further pit optimisation. Maritana also plans diamond drilling for mining assumptions and drill quality assurance and quality control in coming months.
