MES seeks an Underground Mine Surveyor for a gold miner 900km northeast of Perth. This role has opened up due to the company opening two new mines. Despite its significant historical output, our client continues to deliver new targets, including a recent high-grade deposit.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Mine Surveying or equivalent
  • Competent using programs such as Deswik, Surpac, Leica
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team as required
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Flexibility to adapt and improve procedures and practices

Position Duties:

  • Conducting survey pickups and scans for all underground development and production advances promptly.
  • Respond promptly to day-to-day requirements of the underground mining team and safely
  • EOM surveys for development and volume calculations
  • Incident and environmental surveys
  • Maintain survey equipment and stock
  • Produce survey plans for mining activates
