MES is currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for our clients newly commissioned gold project in the Pilbara region. The gold project is in a steady state of production and operating in the lowest quartile of operating costs in the Australian Gold Sector
- Tertiary level qualifications in Health and Safety;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable);
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory framework for Work Health and Safety (state and national)
- ICAM (or similar) lead investigator;
- Current Australian Driver's License;
Position Duties:
- Conduct Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification;
- Maintain the Site Training Matrix, ensuring it is up to date and easily available to Site Management;
- Ensure audits and inspections are undertaken in accordance with site and legislative requirements;
- Ensure all incidents are reported, recorded, escalated, and then investigated as per site requirements;
