Our client is an ASX-listed mineral company that holds advanced gold projects in Australia. They are currently sourcing an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to work on a WA Gold Mine.
- Tertiary qualification in environmental related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience dealing successfully with government departments, and meeting planning and reporting timelines;
- Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills;
- Personal drive, an ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously, with a wide range of key stakeholders;
- Commitment to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace;
Position Duties:
- You will be responsible for ensuring environmental monitoring, database management and reporting requirements are met;
- Operate in accordance with the Company’s Environmental Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. This includes minimizing waste generation and damage to the natural environment;
- Manage all activities in a manner that minimises damage to the natural environment;
- Minimise waste generation through reduced consumption and increased re-use and recycling.
