LD18221 - Field Assistant / Pit Technician (Mine & Exploration) x 4

We’re actively recruiting four Field Assistants with both exploration and mine experience to join an established but NEW gold operation in the northern goldfields. This is an excellent opportunity to work across both active open-pit and exploration activities in a well-run project close to existing village accommodation.
 

This is a rare opportunity to secure a permanent placement at an exciting operation on an 8/6 roster.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting mine geologists with channel and grade control sampling in the pit
• Supporting exploration/field programs as required
• Sample collection, bagging, labelling and data accuracy
• General field and geology support around the site

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Field Assistant in either open pit and/or exploration (both are ideal)
• Comfortable working in remote WA conditions
• Good attention to detail and safe work habits
• Able to follow directions from site geologists
