MES is seeking an Exploration Geologist to join a well-funded private explorer. The company is master of its own destiny; its structure provides the flexibility to think differently, operate differently and reward differently—so ideas move quickly from plan to pit.
he Role
A genuinely hands-on position, splitting time between the rig and the office to plan, map and execute the next phase of drilling. You’ll collaborate closely with operations to progress targets and add value quickly.
About You
- 3+ years’ gold exploration experience (Australia preferred; strong international experience considered).
- Proficient in Leapfrog, Acquire and ArcGIS.
- Exposure to both RC and Diamond drilling.
- Comfortable splitting time equally between field and office.
- Safety-first mindset, clear communicator, proactive problem solver.
- Available to start immediately.
Position Duties:
- Plan, map and schedule drill programs (RC & Diamond).
- Supervise rig activities, sampling and geological logging with strong QA/QC.
- Interpret results, maintain data integrity and update geological models.
- Contribute to target generation and near-term decision-making.
