Our client is ASX-listed and mines for manganese, gold, copper-lead-zinc, nickel, and copper-gold targets. They are currently in need of a well-experienced Lab technician for their world-class manganese project.
Job Requirements:
- Current Drivers License;
- National Police Clearance.
- Small XRF, LM2 pulverizer & Small Terminator jaw crusher experience necessary;
- Strong commitment to OH&S procedures;
- High level of communication skills – verbal and written.
Position Duties:
- Create and proactively manage the effective monthly, weekly and daily plan to operate the laboratory and sample areas in a safe, environmentally sustainable and cost-effective manner;
- Ensure there is a proactive maintenance plan, coordinating the planned and unplanned maintenance of the laboratory and sampling equipment to maximise the availability and production efficiency of the plant;
- Work with the geology and process plant teams to ensure the optimum use of the laboratory and sampling areas;
- Source and maintain quality data to produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the laboratory operations.
