This client is seeking an experienced Open Pit Mine Geologist to join their team in the Pilbara region.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
  • Motivated to excel in the gold mining industry;
  • Excellent communication skills & attitude toward safe work practices;
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office computer programs & data entry skills;
  • Australian C-Class Drivers Licence;
  • National Police Clearance.

Position Duties:

  • Data entry;
  • Geological mapping and interpretations;
  • Grade control;
  • Periodic planning and supervision of grade control functions;
  • Work alongside graduate-level Geologists and Senior Mine Geologists in the pit;
