Our ASX listed client is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist for their new iron ore project in the West Pilbara region of WA.
They are an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Geology;
- Ore mark ups and ore spotting experience;
- Exposure to EOM reconciliations and reporting;
- Strong QAQC skills;
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment;
- Competent using Surpac (or similar), Acquire, OrePro (or similar) and Excel.
Position Duties:
- Monitor ore spotting and extraction;
- Supervise blending and stockpiling requirements;
- Assist with planning, scheduling and management of geological projects;
- Assist with monthly and annual reconciliation;
- Assist with daily and weekly reporting.
