Our client is an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
They are currently seeking an experienced Resource Development Geologist for their world-class lithium project.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Previous experience working around exploration drill rigs;
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently;
- Experienced using Micromine, Arc GIS, AcQuire - desirable;
- Experience working in Iron ore and/or Lithium - desirable;
- Senior First Aid & 4WD Training - desirable.
Position Duties:
- Assist in the design and execution of exploration and resource development drill programs;
- Collect, validate and manage geological data from field mapping and drill programs;
- Ongoing interpretation of mineralisation model based on geological observations;
- Input all field data into the AcQuire database;
- Reporting on progress of drill campaigns against physical budgets and technical goals;
- Ensure drilling is completed to appropriate standards and is cost effective;
- Maintain regular and effective communication and feedback with peers, subordinates and superiors;
- Statutory and technical reporting as required.
