Our client is an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
They are currently seeking an experienced Project Geologist for their world-class lithium project.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
- Experience in exploration drill rigs across RC or Diamond;
- Experienced using Micromine, Arc GIS, AcQuire or similar;
- Skilled in 3D modelling - desirable;
- Experience working in gold mining.
Position Duties:
- Assist in the design and execution of exploration and resource development drill programs;
- Assist with geological field mapping, produce digital maps and reports from field findings;
- Collect, validate, and manage geological data from field mapping and drill programs;
- Drill rig supervision; geological logging; geological interpretation; ensure sampling quality is maintained;
- Statutory and technical reporting as required;
- Coach junior staff including Geologists and Graduate Geologists.
