Mining Employment Services (MES) is seeking an experienced Process Mill Trainer to join an established Western Australian gold operation.
This role offers $84 per hour, an 8/6 Friday-to-Friday BIBO or DIDO roster and the potential to move into permanent employment. It is an excellent opportunity for a practical Trainer and Assessor who understands mineral processing operations and enjoys helping people work safely and competently.
The Role
- Deliver practical and classroom-based training across the processing plant and operational areas;
- Assess employee competency on plant, mobile equipment and operational tasks;
- Conduct training needs analyses and identify workforce competency gaps;
- Develop and maintain training materials, procedures and assessment documentation;
- Apply adult learning principles through one-on-one, classroom and blended learning;
- Maintain accurate training and competency records within the site's Learning Management System;
- Support compliance with VET, statutory and site training requirements;
- Work closely with processing and operational teams to improve capability, safety and performance;
About You
You will bring hands-on gold processing experience together with the ability to engage, coach and assess personnel in a site environment.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE);
- Certificate III or higher in Metalliferous Mining Operations โ Processing;
- Certificate IV or higher in Occupational Health and Safety;
- Current WA HR driver's licence with manual driving capability;
- Approximately five years' experience in gold processing plants;
- Strong communication, facilitation and record-keeping skills;
