Our client, a dominant explorer, developer, operator and Lithium mining company, is seeking an experienced Shutdown Maintenance Planner to join their team.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification and/or Trade background;
- Competent with basic root cause analysis methodology (5 Why’s);
- Computerized Maintenance Management System experience (SAP or Pronto desirable);
- Valid driver’s license and First Aid certificate;
- Previous shutdown and maintenance / process plant experience in mining environment;
- Previous Section 44 statutory appointment and knowledge of legislative requirements, statutory and regulatory codes.
Position Duties:
- Maintain currency and accuracy of maintenance history, work orders, plant and equipment;
- Coordinate the walk the gant, walking through the work fronts;
- Design traffic management plan including extra skip bins and emptying during shutdown;
- Review and confirm estimated critical path against the shutdown duration allocated in the production plan summary;
- Inform shutdown stakeholders of the preparation framework, potential scope requirements and project works that may impact the shutdown scope, schedule or other works at the initial shutdown meeting;
- Develop pre-shut scaffolding plan for both project and maintenance jobs;
- Generate and distribute week shutdown readiness actions each Thursday to stakeholders.
