Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold company with a significant high-grade gold deposit, is currently seeking an Emergency Services Officer to join their Gold Project located within a major gold-producing district.
This position is offered on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, working on an 8/6 roster. Travel is DIDO/BIBO from Perth (Friday to Friday).
Key Requirements:

Minimum Certificate IV in Health Care.

Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue or Certificate III Public Safety – Fire and Emergency.

BG4 Certification.

Formal qualification in Drug and Alcohol Testing.

Australian Manual Driver’s Licence (MR or HR preferred).

Underground Emergency Response experience.

Experience working in remote mining environments.
Position Duties:
- Provide Emergency Services and medical advice and assistance to site personnel.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of emergency response activities.
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response systems.
- Ensure all emergency response equipment is maintained and ready for use.
- Assist with the development and delivery of ERT training as directed by the HST Manager.
- Provide First Aid and Medic services as required.
- Maintain the drug register in accordance with Poisons Permit and WA Health regulations.
- Administer S4 and S8 medications in line with company protocols and relevant legislation.
- Support the HST Manager in maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies regarding safety and health governance.
