Our client, an ASX-listed gold exploration and development company, is seeking a highly qualified Fixed Plant Electrician / Instrumentation Technician to join its team.
Job Requirements:
- Unrestricted WA electrical license;
- WA manuals driver’s license;
- Electrical Trade and High Voltage switching qualification;
- Installing and commissioning modifications and design changes to control, instrument and electrical equipment;
- Competent with reporting, completing electrical logs, and working on a work order system;
- Hazard identification and risk assessment;
Position Duties:
- Diagnose LV & HV power installations and conduct control system repairs, modifications, and adjustments;
- Conducting maintenance activities, inspection testing and calibration for fixed plant equipment and instrumentation;
- Installing and commissioning modifications and design changes to control, instrument and electrical equipment;
- Maintain motors, transformers, and other electrical apparatus;
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, as required;
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures;
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes;
Experience
3+ years of fixed plant electrical / Instrumentation experience;
