Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit, is currently seeking an HD Fitter with expertise in Diesel Mechanics to join their Gold Project, which sits in a major gold-producing district; FIFO Perth 8/6 -7/7 roster;

Job Requirements:

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Mechanic or equivalent);
Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE);
Strong commitment to safety;
Good verbal and written communication;
Ability to work in a team and unsupervised;

Position Duties:

Conducting inspections and diagnostic tests;
Maintaining and servicing of underground equipment;
Installing component and part upgrades to OEM standards;
Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls/systems;
Assists with vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing and adjusting components, parts or systems;
Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs;
Troubleshooting breakdowns;

Experience
