Our client, an Australian company specialising in gold production, development, and exploration, is currently seeking an experienced Process Mill Trainer for their gold mining operations. FIFO Perth; Short Term role from 20-1-2026 till 27-1-2026,
Job Requirements:
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence;
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (REQUIRED);
- Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT);
- Advanced Microsoft skills, including development of training presentations as required;
- Confined Space Ticket, Gas Testing Ticket, and Working at Heights Ticket (Desirable);
- Forklift License, CN crane ticket (Desirable);
- High level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage all internal training records;
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a processing plant and ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
Position Duties:
- Develops and implements training packages and procedures for processing plant equipment, including Milling, Crushing, CIL, and the Elution circuit;
- Provide training and guidance on the use of our process control system,
- Undertake the development and ongoing improvement of a structured training and evaluation system so all Operating employees can increase their skill base to a suitable competency standard;
- Maintain Process & Maintenance personnel training matrix and records;
- Assist with the VOC requirements of contractors for shutdown/emergency work as required,
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in Gold Processing Plants.
