Our client, a high-performing and established gold mining company with a history of success in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Medical Emergency Service Officer to join their operation.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Certificate IV in Health Care;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol;
- Alcohol and Other Drugs Collector;
- Underground experience preferred;
- National Police Clearance (issued within 12 months);
- Current Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
Position Duties:
- Provision of first aid medical services to maintain the health of employees, contractors or visitors in the event of an incident/accident and protect against further injury and/or loss;
- Administer, control, and maintain site medications in accordance with poisons permit and regulatory requirements;
- Assist with coordination of site entry requirements including pre-employment medicals;
- Assist in the delivery of a qualified emergency response service;
- Build individual and workforce capability by developing and maintaining emergency response skills;
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol Testing and maintain records.
Experience
12+ months experience in a similar role - UG experience preferred
